The 3 living meeting the 3 dead was a common Gothic subject about confronting mortality. My painting updates this theme in Neo-Regionalist style. A happy rural family meets 3 zombie parasites: the military industrial warmonger, the bible thumping nationalist, and the land grabbing real estate developer and lawyer. Confronted by these immoral and unethical savages, I fear for average Americans.
