Work History
This illustrates page 4 of my 'Gospel of Mary Magdalene'. I created it on my own; the edited and enhanced text and the illustrations, because I admired the recently found original Gnostic text. It begins with Mary's conversation with Jesus about the nature of life and salvation, and then launches into an abstract and visionary exploration of her personal religious ascendency. The male Disciples, of course, don't immediately accept any of it. I was struck by the power of the fragmentary text, and decided it was a good project for me. If anyone's interested in publishing it out there, I think it's beautiful, important and timely. This was the woman's leadership voice in Christianity that was rejected and removed from the accepted Gospels, and might have changed human history.
