Georges Demeny in the Black Suit is from my Early Scientific series. The black suit with it's white dots was used to track motion in early experiments with movie cameras. I simply enjoy the surreal look of this photo, a narrative painting that inspires mystery and meditation. It was included in Painters Series 1, an Exhibition organized by the Green Hill Center for North Carolina Art in 2000.
