‘The Walker’ is a portrait of an old woman named Jewel, who walks around our neighborhood every day from early morning till nightfall. Every single day. She carries a small brown paper bag with her to feed the area birds and squirrels. Birds get bread crumbs, squirrels get nuts.I gave it to her on a subsequent walk.
