A Mary Magdalene painting I did around the time of my Gospel of Mary Magdalene book illustrations. Legend has it that after the crucifixion, Mary, her daughter, and a few followers sailed away in a rudderless boat, miraculously landing on the coast of France. Mary lived there in a cave by the beach for the rest of her days.
