Egyptian Woman is one of 2 paintings I did experimenting with egg tempera. I like tempera a lot, but had a bit of technical trouble with these egg temperas. She was painted from a wooden funeral figure, carrying bread and water, the basics of poor nutrition. It’s influenced by my affection for cubism.
