Forest of Suicides
Forest of Suicides
Oil on Canvas
32” x 26”

This is my first large painting from New Orleans. My friend Nikolaus Mohr, a German art historian and painter, describes it with these words: ‘The whole picture depicts the despair of our century. It’s not about suicide, but about the darkness of our mood and time.’ Recently it was accepted to the Site:Brooklyn’s online show, ‘Painting Today’.
