My mother, Ruth Clark, was a nationally known furniture designer, breaking into the male-only designer careers. She was principle designer for Drexel Heritage, and later Vice President of Pearson Furniture. She was a great mother, my biggest fan and supporter. I did this small portrait of her in ancient Egyptian Fayum style.
