One of about 5 plates for yearly AIDS auctions in Charlotte, N.C. called ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner’. This one was purchased by a friend, who just sent me this photo of it. The funny thing is I have little memory of painting it at all! I It pictures a poor diseased man whose pleas for help are ignored by the wealthy corporate city crowd. The coins around the edges were painted from a book I have which contains facsimile ancient coins. Some of these auctioned plates achieved high prices.
