This AIDS Benefit plate I don’t even remember painting. It was for the 2000 Metrolina AIDS event, and I think everyone’s thoughts were considering the end of an age. Many thought the world would catch on fire, computers everywhere would crash, martians would arrive, etc. It was bid on, and won by a fellow Charlotte painter and friend.
