This image combines two very different ideas. First, my memories of the turbulent and divisive Vietnam war era; I registered for the draft, but the draft ended before I was called up. Secondly, I was inspired by the wonderful stage sets and costumes for the Russian Ballet by Leon Bakst. So this is a 3rd World stage, where the 1st and 2nd worlds drop in to exploit.
